Lady Gaga is currently in the midst of the Australian leg of her massive Monster Ball tour — with scheduled stops in Japan and Europe — and, as you probably know by now, she’s also putting the finishing touches on the much-anticipated “Telephone” video, too. But neither of those things are standing in the way of yet another ambitious endeavor, a planned 3-D concert and subsequent DVD.
On Monday (March 8), MTV News spoke to a rep for her label, Interscope Records, who told us that “there are talks about a 3-D concert and DVD in the near future.” No other information — including just how a 3-D concert would manifest — was available at press time. Late last week, Gaga fansites began speculating about plans for a 3-D DVD, but this is the first time a concert has been mentioned. In December, Gaga released a deluxe edition of her Fame Monster album, which included a pair of 3-D glasses that she mysteriously explained would come in handy “for things happening soon.”
In the mean time, her Little Monsters are gearing up for the debut of the “Telephone” video — the follow-up to her striking “Bad Romance” clip — which, after weeks of teasing from Gaga herself and some last-minute editing is scheduled to premiere Thursday at midnight EST.

Lady Gaga The World According To Gaga
Friday, March 5, 2010
In the contemporary fashion dialogue, no celebrity is paid more lip service than Lady Gaga. Such is her reach that the Global Language Monitor recently revealed that “Lady Gaga” topped the list of the most searched fashion terms, with “no pants” a close third. The Moment recently caught up with the fashion plate du jour, who was surprisingly candid and dressed in mufti — an outfit of checked shirt, black tights and vertiginous heels that brought to mind Mary-Kate without the grande nonfat latte — to talk about everything from her new gig as a mouthpiece for M.A.C. and its AIDS fund to her constantly referring to herself in the third person.
I have to say that meeting you is rather odd. It’s like interviewing Mr. T. What to call you?
[Laughs] Lady Gaga or Gaga is fine. Everyone calls me one of the two, and it’s very normal. I think it’s mostly about being in my world and understanding what I do. Everyone here is around the magic that happens when I work with, say, Terence Koh or Francesco Vezzoli or Frank Gehry. When you’re around me and really see that all I do is live and breathe for my work, it’s not strange, it’s just Gaga.
Got it. Before we turned on the tape recorder, I was talking to you about betrayal. Is that something you think about more than ever?
Absolutely. You have no idea. More than dealing with betrayal, though, what is really hard is that I have had to leave my past behind me. It’s hard knowing who to trust with your personal life. When you cry in your room at night, you don’t always know who to call. So I am very close to my family.
Why would you disconnect yourself from your past?
I left it behind because I had to. For many reasons, like drugs. It’s no secret that I have had problems with drugs in the past. And some places represent to me things in terms of my mental and physical health, so you learn to move on, to preserve what your mission in life is, and my greater mission is my fans.
Really? That sounds very selfless for a pop star.
It is selfless. But, you know, I am very lucky. I work very hard, but when God opens that door for you — when life opens that door for you, I should say — I think it’s important to be giving, to return the love back. I have a spiritual guide, not a therapist but someone who in my mind is connected with a higher being, and he helps me a lot.
What does he bring to the party?
What I like about him is that he doesn’t speak to me like I am a normal person. He understands that I have an eccentric way of life and personality. And he also understands that I am famous, and I appreciate that. He tells me that I no longer serve my life in the normal way that people serve their life, that I must serve the greater good in my service to the universe. And for me, it’s my fans. I only serve my fans.
You were telling me earlier that you have been attached to M.A.C. since you were a young girl growing up in Manhattan. But did you not worry that being aligned to a makeup company, even one you love, would inevitably bring up questions about whether you could have the career you have without hair, makeup and styling?
Not at all. I don’t think I could live without hair, makeup and styling, let alone be the performer I am. I am a glamour girl through and through. I believe in the glamorous life and I live one. I don’t want anyone to separate who I am with my makeup on from who I am without it. I’m the same person.
What are those bruises on your arm?
You’ll laugh, but they’re welts. I burnt myself with a curling iron. Glamour, girl!
But, seriously, I love M.A.C. and I love the cause. I think it’s exciting that we have much more information about AIDS that we can share with the world. The most important thing for me, and why I chose to be in this campaign, is to remind people that it’s not a gay disease. Women around my age, between 18 and 24, and Cyndi [Lauper’s] bracket, who are increasingly at risk. I don’t think they chose us for those reasons alone, but if they did, then that’s good, too. Whatever it takes to eliminate the stereotypes about AIDS, that it’s always drug-related or the result of a promiscuous lifestyle.
Who were your glamour icons growing up?
I would say Leigh Bowery, Klaus Nomi, David Bowie, Grace Jones.
They all turned artifice into the sublime. How important is artifice to you?
Artifice, as in artificial?
No, as in a construct, a stratagem.
I don’t know, that word implies artificial to me. I don’t see myself in terms of artifice. I see myself as a real person who chooses to live my life in an open way — artistically. I am a walking piece of art every day, with my dreams and my ambitions forward at all times in an effort to inspire my fans to lead their life in that way.
You’ve definitely hitched your wagon to the art world, having worked with people like Terence and Francesco.
I have never intentionally made any sorts of decisions in those ways. I just gravitate to those people, and I’m sure there will be others. To be completely honest, every relationship I have built is based on a genuine and authentic sharing of dreams and aesthetics.
As a celebrity, do you think there is an unfair expectation of you now to one-up yourself constantly at the point where most people are finding their artistic feet?
I think that anyone who is lucky enough to have a voice in the music industry should not be finding their feet in front of the whole world. I don’t like celebrities; I don’t hang out with them; I don’t relate to that life. I love to talk about art and fashion and the future and comment on society on what we can do to change people’s perception. I am very much like Francesco, and I really admire what he does. He is very — in my opinion, anyway — centered on perception and how to shift the perceptions of the audience.
How do you think you are doing that with your fans?
I think I have changed the way they look at and devour fame. It’s something that tastes a little too sweet but is not so difficult to swallow.
You say you are an acute assessor of fame. You of all people must know, then, that celebrity is fleeting. Doesn’t that scare the bejesus out of you?
Not in the book of Gaga.
Sorry?
In the book of Gaga, fame is in your heart, fame is there to comfort you, to bring you self-confidence and worth whenever you need it. I want my fans to love themselves. It’s almost like I want to hypnotize them so when they hear my music they love themselves instantly.
Don’t you think it’s kind of creepy when you refer to yourself in the third person?
No. Not if you’re an artist, it’s not. I talk about myself in the third person all the time. I don’t live my life in the way someone like you does. I live my life completely serving only my work and my fans. And that way, I have to think about not what is best for my vagina but what is best for my fans and for me artistically.

Lady Gaga Leaving Her London Hotel
Monday, March 1, 2010
Up bright and early after an action-packed show Friday night, Lady Gaga was spotted leaving her London, England hotel on Saturday.
Sipping on a cup of tea, the “Bad Romance” songstress looked re-energized after she rocked the stage and made over 10 costume changes during the hour and a half show on Friday.
In other news, Gaga has a fan in Megan Fox; a friend of the actress recently told press, “Megan is a massive Lady Gaga fan.” Continuing on, the friend said, “She says she’s super sexy and exactly the kind of girl who could tempt her away from men for life!”
Lady Gaga Is Cosmo's April Cover Girl

On her ex:
"I had a boyfriend who told me I'd never succeed, never be nominated for a Grammy, never have a hit song, and that he hoped I'd fail. I said to him, 'Someday, when we're not together, you won't be able to order a cup of coffee at the fucking deli without hearing or seeing me."
On her career:
"I ate shit for so long, being told I didn't fit the mold and that I was 'too pop' or 'too theater'…I've always been delusionally ambitious to the point where people don't understand me."
There are tons of questions we want to ask Lady Gaga. After all, she’s one of the most fascinating music artists we’ve ever seen. And unlike most people who are given that title, she actually manages to live up to it—she’s a true artist—while still singing ultracatchy pop songs that make it impossible not to dance. She’s kind of a genius… but she’s also kind of bizarre. Who is she, really? We plan to find out.
But as we wait for her to meet us at a chic Las Vegas sushi restaurant, we’re completely preoccupied with the most obvious question of all: What the hell will she be wearing? That translucent bubble dress, a bra that shoots sparks, lingerie that oozes fake blood—Gaga never looks boring. In fact, we’d be shocked if she’s so much as touched a pair of sweat pants in her life.
Sadly, there are no pyrotechnics when we spot her strutting toward us in a pair of black shades, a skimpy bustier, and an impossibly tight vinyl miniskirt. Just as we realize we have no idea what to call her (though we bet “Stefani” will get us slapped), she stretches out a pale, delicate hand in our direction and declares “Gaga.” Of course.
We offer her a cocktail, but she has a soldout concert in a few hours, and she doesn’t want to drink before the show. Instead, she orders riceless sushi and dressingless salad. For Gaga, life is all about being in the spotlight... and why would she do anything to jeopardize that? “My friends joke that I’m dead until I get onstage,” she says. “I’m dead right now as you’re speaking to me.”

Monster Ball Lady Gaga Performing In Belfast, Ireland
Wednesday, February 24, 2010
Continuing along with her tour duties, Lady Gaga hit the stage during her Monster Ball tour on Monday night. Always entertaining, the “Poker Face” singer dished out the hits at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
In related news, Gaga recently confessed that she’s ready to settle down-and have babies! She explained that she cannot wait to be married and have children, telling, “I want to have a husband who loves and supports me, just the way anyone else does. I am a very sentimental person and family is important to me.”
The blonde beauty, who has had an amazing year, has been romantically linked to her stylist Matthew Williams. “Matthew and Gaga have been dating for months,” a source said. “They were together on and off for more than a year, but called it off when mixing work and love became too difficult.”
After the two ended their relationship, Gaga was linked with business man Speedy, and Matthew began a new relationship and became a father, but the couple may have come together again.
But although GaGa is ready to begin a new life, she still loves her current one. “I live out of a suitcase, but I love what I do — I’ve worked my whole life to live like this,” she said.

Monster Ball Rihanna Says Lady Gaga Is Not A Style Rival
Tuesday, February 23, 2010 Rihanna is frequently spotted on red carpets wearing outfits that a sane person would politely describe as "wacky", but she insists there's no rivalry with Lady Gaga — aka the Queen of Wacky Outfits.
"I could never wear anything that Lady Gaga wears," the 'Rude Boy' singer told MusicFIX during her recent jaunt to Australia. "It works for her because that's her. It'll look pretty silly on me!"
"The only way I succeeded was by being myself and not really look at who else is out there or trying to compete with them," she added.
Rihanna also reveals that even though she's a megastar, she's really just a normal girl who loves normal things — like watching TV, cooking, and dancing around at home in her underwear.
